Seriously, two shooters. guys that will take heaps and heaps and heaps of shots a game. damn Cousins going to kill someone. if Westphal made the pick. kill him. i seriously think now that Sacremento is not the place for the Jimmer. decent ball handler, but over Knight. i think they should of just said with the Bucks and Bobcats. right, we ain't doing it. they could of at the stage. would of pissed of both teams. but still. Brandon Knight, there guy was on the board. seriously better. then in the F.A get a Small forward or trade for a guy like Nick Batum from Portland. (he would cost something but it is a legit prospect at the 3). At Least Knight can handle the rock. well he can learn how too and is a better pro prospect. hell could be better already. when a guy like Knight is available. screw Salmons. you veto that trade. and you go pick Knight.

As for this pick, I like it. Jimmer is a lights out shooter, and Tyreke is a willing passer. I think the real question is how good of a defender can Jimmer be and will he end up being a liability. They didn't pick Knight because the ball will be in the hands of Tyreke a good portion of the time, making the point guard pretty much worthless: think of a Dwyane Wade or LeBron (In Cleveland). They assumed most of the ball handling.

Tyreke isn't exactly the guy i want being my main ballhandler. he is more then capable of being a 2nd option in passing. but the main guy. you think Jimmer's offense. can it translate to the NBA due to his lack of speed. as well as lack of creating his own shot. his shot selection also is an area of concern (especially when Tyreke can jack it up there also), 10-29 against Florida. that is Kobe like. and not in the good Kobe way. that's just appaling. i like him. i like him alot but he isn't in the right system at all. he needed to be on a team were he can play the 2 guard and shoot heaps as well as having a decent Point that is more of a handler then outright scorer.

this just spells disaster. Tyreke Evans on most teams would be the biggest headcase by miles. but he doesn't even come close when you compare him to the curious case of DeMarcus Cousins, remember, he would of probably gone 2nd or 3rd if he wasn't so crazy.

my take. not enough shots to go around already. now adding Jimmer. someone's going to get pissed

I agree with Bannak. The Sacramento fans love the pick as well.

I think the pick was great. It's true, he's no Steve Nash but he's a capable passer, if not then Tyreke Evans sure as hell is.

There is no such thing as "shot selection" for jimmer when he was in college. He was basically the offense and had the green light to fire shots up at will. For the most part that was their offensive gameplan.

Jimmer will have to be more of the point gaurd imo because he is smaller. Evans will be able to play the two position much better at this level. I do not think its a horrible plan, it could turn into a high scoring backcourt like Ellis and Curry.

yeah. i love his play, but this isn't the right situation. with Tyreke and Cousins actually fighting about offensive output, you add a guy who is an out and out scorer. not the right landing spot. also the pressure from Sacremento fans. damn that is crazy. what happens if he doesn't produce.

also Tyreke Evans, we know he can pass, Jimmer can too but that backcourt will take. don't even want to think about it. i think that backcourt will be top 5 in shots taken. i'm claimin that

As far as I know Tyreke is still adjusting in becoming a point guard. I think he'll develop that point guard mentality as he develops. I don't see why he'll be taking a whole heap of shots like in his rookie year now. Fact is that he's got a lot more talent around him then his rookie year too (aswell as developed players).

Jimmer will be taking a lot of shots for sure.

But this thread is just more about Cousins shitty attitude as a player. The guy just needs to get a little maturity and know his role.

probably is more about Cousins then anything. he is the third option on this team one would think (if Jimmer can score 15PPG+)
