Time has almost run out for the Portland Trail Blazers to address the Nicolas Batum situation. Batum is a restricted free agent when the NBA free agency period opens on July 1, meaning the Blazers' front office has to figure out how to approach the situation. The team has the right to match any contract offer extended to Batum, but there is also a possibility that the franchise could look into trading him to really continue the rebuilding process.
