Apparently before Thibs signed with the Celtics, Kerr was hoping to sign Thibs but D'Antoni was against it. Oh, D'Antoni

I actually saw this a few days back, highly amusing, anyone they get now will be a step down, obviously Kerr has more BBIQ if he can see the brilliance in Tibs & MDA thinks he can do better on his own

why is D'Antoni rated as a really good coach anyway, i think he is extremely one dimensional. besides Gentry is one of the best coaches in the league in my opinion

I think Gentry can become a good coach, I just think he just isn't use to having the head coaching role. I don't know but sometimes he just makes some stupid coaching decisions, in terms of substitions and such. Also, it's clear he doesn't focus too much on defense either or maybe he has but we just have really horrible defensive players. But really Hill and Gortat are awesome defenders but quite frankly own only good ones.

but it seems like he has the backing of the backroom staff & you guys are clearly in rebuild mode, if he is allowed the time to create his own team I think he could be a great coach, hopefully he gets it

Old news. This was out in the open 12 months ago, now Thibodeau's won COTY though, everyone's gonna bring it up and make it look recent.
