It's looking like Lou Williams won't be back with the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2012-13 season. Rod Thorn recently announced that he expects Williams to opt out and become a free agent this summer. Assuming that happens, there is a very good chance that some team out there will pay Williams more than the 76ers would want to pay. Given that he could have a chance to start for another team, I'd be surprised to see Williams return. As a fan, that might not be the worst thing ever.
