On a beautiful spring-like February 25, 2012 day, nature gave Philadelphia a surprising occurrence on NBA All-Star weekend that to the poetic mind could represent a reality based foreshadow. A Feb. 24 storm system, which brought some heavy rain, left Philly with a jet stream disturbance which triggered a few bands of extremely heavy snow, otherwise known as a squall.
