I was reading earlier in the week that he was most likely going to decline the player option and test free agency. I'm definitely glad he changed his mind. I hope when we ship out Dwight they take Hedo too so he gets a chance at starting!

Ariza 2.0
Only good thing we got out of the deal with the Suns.

Guess what? Now the Lakers got Clark so, so much for him starting as a Magic forward.![]()

Yeah haha... the Magic obviously didn't see any value in him.
The Magic did see value in him. I think it is logical to think that he would not get much game time with Hedo Turkoglu and Moe Harkless. I think that it was the right move. We need to shorten our list of players from what is almost 20.

I also did like Clark but under our current situation we really had no use for him. He would not be used until Hedo Turkoglu was gone and that would not be for 2 years. In the playoffs he did prove he is a good defender. I do not know what is up with the Magic and giving up young great swingmen. Courtney Lee, Trevor Ariza, Matt Barnes and now Earl Clark.
I would not be surprised if Clark improves in his new scene.
