Changed this thread to the "minor news" thread. Just to discuss small things with the Magic in. Just read this article, kinda interesting...

Earl Clark, 23, played sparingly with Orlando, appearing in 33 games.

Van Gundy says he has a specific role for Clark if he can meet the challenge: designated defender.

"We want Earl to guard the 3s and 4s who are primary scorers, seeing if he can guard Kevin Durant, Paul Pierce, Joe Johnson, Dirk Nowitzki … the bigger wings and the 4s," Van Gundy said. "That's where I see Earl coming in and getting his minutes."

Should be interesting, I hope he blows up this year. He was looking nice since we aquired him.

for those who would like to know what is happening with turkoglu he suffered a left hip concussion. to my understanding there is no actual damage physically to anything. however he is still getting spasms in his hip and leg. he should be okay come opening night.

do the magic fans think that superman is playing without passion? i dont know he still was smiling tonight but at times he just did not look like the normal dwight i like to see. he said that the trade talks will not be a distraction. but in actual fact it is going to be all year.

the los angeles lakers are trying to get dwight again. in a trade that was similar to the chris paul trade. i do not know why the rockets want to give up martin and scola in exchange for gasol. i do hope that if we do trade we get coutney lee back. but with dwight gone i do not know what direction we are moving towards. front office does seem set on veterans.
