Anyone else excited for the season?
Predictions:
AL EAST: Tampa Bay. David Price, James Shields, Matt Moore, Niemann and Hellickson make a damn good rotation. I feel like they need one more big bat to be a power house.
I also see Toronto taking a big step forward as a team.
AL Central: Detroit. Aside from Detroit that division is trash and I'd have liked to see this lineup with Victor Martinez but it's still one of the top offenses in the league with a great rotation.
AL West: I'll go with the Angels but it's tough to call, I think they'll battle the Rangers until the end for the division, the one that doesn't win it should make a wild card bid though.
NL East: Not even being bias but I see Miami winning the division. Reyes, Bonofacio and Hanley are one of the most dynamic 1-2-3 hitters I've ever seen not to mention following them is Giancarlo Stanton plus the starting 5 and bullpen is solid up and down. I like the Nats but I don't see them making a huge step this season but they'll definitely be a force for years to come and the Phils rotation is always great but not having Howard (1/3 of their offense) and now with Chase Utley out I don't know who's going to produce runs.
NL Central: Tough one but I'll go Cincinnati, losing Fielder kills the Brewers and losing Pujols kill St.Louis, one of these teams gets a wild card spot though.
NL West: I'm liking Arizona again but I see the Dodgers surprising people behind another HUGE year from Kemp and I like Kershaw to finish neck and neck with Josh Johnson (if he can stay healthy) for the NL Cy Young.
World Series Predictions: Miami Marlins over Detroit (srs)
NL MVP: Hanley Ramirez
AL MVP: Miguel Cabrera
