In an effort to be different to 1234s reply I will make my response different. I did not sign up to make an entire essay either. Infact I did not even sign up for this. Hmmm.

The fall of the heat contributed most to the ultimate finals result. It falls beyond 3 main reasons:

    - LeBron James
    - The inability to close games
    - Lack of defense on guards

First lebron james. It is obvious that he did not show up at all this finals series. He is meant to be the best player in the game right now and was even compared to have hold the greatness of michael jordan (which i disagree with) anyway the opportunity to cement his legacy as one of the best players of all time was his for the taking this series. But as his bad history of closing games and playing 'when it matters' comes into course he chocked again under the pressure. The only real high spot in his game was passing the ball the guy is not going to win games as himself as a distributor. He needs to demand the ball and use his frame; which i say is the most athletic, strongest (pound for pound) in the entire league perhaps history, and score points. The guy missed every single three point shot he has attempted down the stretch and shot something like 30% in crunch time. He looked nearly invisible and the team needed this guy to perform when it was needed - as usual he did not show up.

The heat have had numerous leads within the playoffs and cannot keep them due to their inability to close games. Earlier in the year it was a huge problem. Their true colors showed in the finals. The game was theres for the taking. A pivotal game 2 really put a dagger in their mentality when they dropped that huge lead and probably was the game changer for the entire playoffs. A 22-2 run to end the game after playing amazing basketball does stuff to your team mentally. That game and their inability was pivotal in the dallas mavericks championship run.

Defense on their guards. Not so much in the first 4 games but the last two games. Terry and Barrea where firing like crazy. Kidd was consistently knocking down threes and the team shot something like 50% behind the ark (mostly from their guards-play) its unacceptable to have some of the best perimeter defenders in the league and allow players to knock down threes. not to mention having two of the 2 defensive beasts allowing barrea to get to the cup at ease. It is ridiculous.

The Heat had enough talent to win this series but could not perform when it matters. It comes with a lack of veteranship and experience. The championship was there for the taking but they couldnt grab it. Plus the Mavericks just looked hungrier then them.

Both were great responses. But the winner is... scoob. The next round will begin shortly.

Give one reason why you support or oppose the War in Afghanistan.
    Perhaps.

I oppose the war in Afghanistan simply because the government is wasting the lives and money of fellow Americans by trying to tame a war that is practically un-winnable.

I remind myself of a young Dallas mavericks squad. Coming home in the clutch.
