    Laptops

So in a few week college starts, and I'm trying to decide what kind of laptop I want to buy. I was thinking of getting some sort of MacBook, since I hear they are quite efficient and last a long time, but I noticed that the cheapest one on the Apple store website was an 11" MacBook Air for $999. Is it really worth almost $1000? Or should I go with a PC laptop, like a Samsung or HP? What do you people think?
    Perhaps.

Just a quick Suggestion, you heard of the Google Nexus tablet? That is supposed to be REALLY good for its price, and its easy to do schoolwork on it and download schoolbooks, save you a ton of money.

Yeah, my sister bought a Toshiba when she first went to college, and it ended up not working very well. Afterwards, she ended up getting a MacBook.
    Perhaps.

I have a MacBook Pro that I bought last year. Its a tank and I love the care Apple gives you. Whether it be over the phone or in person, they know what they're doing. I will never buy another computer. So yes, almost 1k is worth it for a computer that runs well and is going to last a while. My first MacBook is still kicking. My roommate from Senior year has it. Its about 7 years old.
