Who's your favorite non superstar player ?

Watchin the league as a teen, my favorite player actually used to be Derek Anderson.
He had some killer years in Cleveland with the most memorable finishes at the rim; a great year individually as a Clipper, but they started him off the bench, stupidly. Even commentators would raise the question.

Then I remember he took less money but went to SA, where he had all those killer jams ! The one in february against Dallas, on Shawn Bradley still is one of my fav. facials all time. Check out the one on Zan Tabak and the Pacers (hope it's on youtube...)

I remember Tim Thomas was on his way to becoming elite in Milwaukee, but it never quite happened...
    Lamond Murray was awesome.
Rodney Rogers had the full package. WHAT a guy to have on your team, perfect role player...got 6th man I recall...
Camby of course, one of my fav. PF/C...but there's a thread on him right now...
Antonio Davis was a FANTASTIC center. Totally underrated. He was actually in a dunk contest, you know that ? as a pacer...
    to think he's an "analyst" on nba.com now...wtf ?!

Of course, everybody loves Big shot Rob Horry...

    Who ya gat ?

My favorite non-superstar player is Walter McCarty. He was a good three point shooter when he played, and was a pretty important part of the Celtics' bench.
    Perhaps.

Excellent player. Loved him too. I remember that shot VC had against him. Threepointer from the dead corner, fade away over McC, wins at the buzzer.
