i actually would not mind if we signed Hassan Whiteside and send him down to the D-League, he has potential, can't believe Barbosa is a F.A though, has to be the best name on that list of players

[QUOTE]I'm on vacation but you know I can't pass a chance to serve and honor Jazz fans: Randy Foye signs 1 yr deal. Solid pick-up./QUOTE]
@ricbucher
Randy Foye to Utah
I think the BULLS are Clearing some Space for next years Free Agent BONANZA!!!
letting go of ASIK, Watson, LUCAS And BREWER
getting Radmanovik,Bellineli Hinrich and Mohamed for minimum deals
its actually an excellent Idea in my opinion:
1.Basing on their current Line-up they can win maybe 30 games
maybe flirting up to 40 wins
2.this will help them get high on the lottery. get a new player
3.Being Patient with Boozer
4.they will Let go of Boozer next year that way they will
pay him lesser money. a WIN WIN for the BULLS
5.Keeping DENG,GIBSON,NOAH.
6.Hope ROSE will come a his usual self.
The Bulls seems to not do well in the Management side of their team
But now that they have a coach that can really develop players.
I don't mind them going to a rebuilding mode for a year.

I think that while it'll be disappointing for Bulls fans to see their 60-win Bulls team go into a rebuild year and let go a lot of regulars, this is ultimately the best option. Even if Rose and the entire team was healthy, the best they are likely to do is lose to the Heat in a closely contested ECF and not win the championship. Since Rose is not going to be healthy, it's best to just rebuild and not rush/pressure Rose into coming back asap. Give him the time to properly recover and rehab and improve the roster for the future while you're at it since you are not contending this season anyway. Bulls fans shouldn't be mad at this I think.
The MAVS actually made some good moves as of the past month
1. they singed KAMAN for a 1 year deal
2. they got Darren Collison and Dhantay Jones
for an out going free agent that they don't want.
3. they got Elton Brand in a minimum deal
4. they got a reliable scorer in OJ MAYO
with DIRK, MARION, CARTER, Beaubois
and the ROOKIE CROWDER who impress in the SUMMER league .
PG-COLLISON/Beaubois
SG-MAYO/WEST/Jae Crowder
SF-CARTER/Dahntay Jones
PF-DIRK/MARION
C-KAMAN/Brandan Wright
A playoffs first rounder team but we don't really expect anything
from the MAVS this Up and coming season so good move MAVS

This old news and nobody cares, but there's some very important reports on the Paul Millsap extension negotiation. He declined the 3/$25 offer from the Utah Jazz. $25 Million was the most the Jazz could offer over three years. He will most likely become a free agent next summer.
It's understandable why he declined, and he'd almost surely be willing to take the four year offer of 4/$35, but the Jazz are not set on committing the next five years to Paul.
This is risky business for the Jazz. Paul wants to be here, and he was almost an all star last season. However, 5/$42 is a huge commitment to someone who figures to be your 6th man.
All signs point to us with moving Paul back to bench this season, preferring Favors as the starter. Obviously Paul won't like having somewhat of a demotion in a contract year. He could, although very unlikely, ask for a trade to a team where he will start. I'd hate to lose him like this, his value to us is greater than anything we could receive back via trade.
The best case scenario is that Paul stays with the Jazz, and resigns next off-season. Worst case, he sign with another team leaving us with nothing.

Meh I still think that a teams gonna bite on him when it's nearing the deadline. Especially if a GM's jobs on the line. I know Houston's GM is gonna be on the chopping board if his team isn't making noise by the deadline. He'll slip up and make a big trade for dwight.

Reportedly the Jazz new GM is Dennis Lindsey of the Spurs, don't know anything about the guy, but San Antonio is the franchise we have to mimic.
