    Amnesty Clause

    REGISTERED USERS SEE LESS ADS
    Each team will be permitted to waive one player currently under contract, and have his salary not count for cap and tax purposes.

    Teams that have already used their amnesty in real life WILL NOT get to use their amnesty again, and teams may only use the amnesty on players that are currently on the roster (you can't amnesty players received in a trade or via free agency).

    Here is a list of teams that have already used their amnesty:

    Atlanta - Joe Johnson
    Boston - Brandon Bass
    Brooklyn - Travis Outlaw
    Cleveland - Baron Davis
    Dallas - Brendan Haywood
    Detroit - Ben Gordon
    Golden State - Charlie Bell
    Houston - Luis Scola
    Indiana - David West
    Los Angeles Clippers - Caron Butler
    Milwaukee - Beno Udrih
    Minnesota - J.J. Barea
    New Orleans - Emeka Okafor
    New York - Chauncey Billups
    Oklahoma City - Nick Collison
    Orlando - Gilbert Arenas
    Phoenix - Josh Childress
    Portland - Brandon Roy
    San Antonio - Matt Bonner
    Toronto - Linas Kleiza
    Utah - Al Jefferson

    No time limit, but remember that you can only use it on guys from your original roster.
