Idea to do after the lockout

Well the main problem is (apart from money issues) that their is inequality amongst teams. well this won't help much. but lets say teams get to choose a player from another team. Each team will have an option to protect up to 6 players from their team. the rest will be put in a pool. Then each team gets to select a player from this pool. It will kinda work like the draft but the worst team will start the draft off and it will go until the best team finishes. don't know how many rounds it would be but anyway (probably only 1-2). This could help even out the playing field. and should keep things interesting. I suppose you can trade the rights around like in a draft also. Should make things interesting and can get good TV off of it also.

This is so stupid and serves no purpose.

Nah, the good teams still have an unfair advantage. Heat protect lbj, wade, bosh, haslem, miller, chalmers, and then get to add another good player from a team and are only giving away trash players.

You'd be swapping bench players for bench players
