    Free Agency Rules

There is no free agency to start the league because, well, there are no real free agents. Just the journeymen that teams are currently signing.

Here are the updated rules for offseason free agency:

    Signing Other Team's Free Agents

    If You're Under the Cap

    - You may sign players up to the maximum available salary (either the amount of cap space you have or on the maximum salary chart below, whichever is higher).

You may sign players to minimum contracts.

You cannot use the MLE or LLE exceptions. If you sign players on Days 1-3 that bring you over the cap, you may then offer MLE/LLE for Days 4-5.

    If You're Over the Cap

You may sign players to minimum contracts.

You may use the MLE or LLE exceptions. You may split these exceptions up. MLE and LLE's are for one year.

    Resigning Your Own Free Agents

    - If you have 1 or more bird years, you may resign your free agent for up to the maximum starting salary, up to 12.5% increase and up to 6 years.

    - You cannot use MLE or LLE exceptions to resign your own players

    - You may resign your own players to minimum salaries
