when you going to get your head out of your ass, Kobe is an all star because Kobe is that good, honestly even now, there is only one player better in the west and that is Kevin Durant

Kobe is past his good days. He's very inefficient. But I guess shooting 6-24 is ok. Most people that follow basketball know that Kobe is inefficient, so I just made the comparison since Beasley is along the same lines. Are they still putting Kobe on the all defensive teams? Because that's total bull crap. Kobe defends the worst offensive player on the opposite team.

So apparently, you don't know how to read stats or you're just so blatantly ignorant that you refuse to do so, but Kobe was barely beaten by Durant for this past season's leading scorer. Also, Kobe is put on all defensive team for a reason. Not just because he stands there and lets people blow by him. Remove you bandwagon Clipper loving head from your ass and read something.

    California Love.

Pressure can burst pipes, but pressure also makes diamonds.

RIP Tim Allen August 6th, 2012. Forever in my heart.

he makes the defensive team the last few years purely on reputation... and dat der fg% eek.... he's definitely declined though i'll admit he's still a good player... should just defer to bynum/gasol more...esp with the nash-gasol pick n roll srs
    please respond.

agree with this. he is still a premier defender sure, but not a guy who should of been on an all defensive team. i hope we do, honestly Nash to Gasol on the pick and roll will be sweet, Nash to Bynum/Howard also. wish MWP learns to shoot 3's again and gets in some shape, then he will be good

get your bandwagoning clipper head out of your ass and LEARN THE GAME, Kobe is better than any clipper player that has played for you and will ever play for your shitty franchise

was talking prime Kobe but i guess it is fair to make that claim. i mean CP3 is in his prime and Kobe isn't. though CP3 makes that franchise

You're bandwagoning the fuck out of the Lakers

If you think Kobe is anywhere near Durant at this stage you're high as fuck, as well as thinking Kobe was DESERVING of the all defensive team. He's a good defensive player AT TIMES. Wing players who play better defense than him, in no order:
Tony Allen, Ronnie Brewer, Aaron Afflalo, Iman Shumpert, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Rudy Gay, Shane Battier, Courtney Lee, Avery Bradley, Andre Iguodala, Thabo Sefalosha. Those are all better SG/SF defenders (maybe not Bradley, because he's smaller) than Kobe, yet Kobe managed to make the all defensive 1st team.

And Kobe being near Durant in PPG doesn't mean he's on the same level AT ALL

Kobe shot 43.0% from the field, and 30.3% from three.
Durant shot 49.6% from the field, and 38.7% from three.

Just think about how many less shots that is, and he got more points.
