    Jason Williams cleared waivers over the weekend, but he is in no hurry to sign with a new team.

    The Grizzlies hope to sign Williams for the remainder of the season, but it is not yet clear if the interest is mutual.

    Owner Michael Heisley is said to have the same infatuation with Williams as he did with Allen Iverson last season.

    White Chocolate would be a good pickup for Memphis though. Really Orlando had no need for him once Gilbert joined the team, but I know Jason wasn't released due to his talent level, the guy is good. Lets hope he agrees to play for Memphis.
