Yeah, at first I thought that TSOL was just alright but the more I listen the better it gets. He's one of the few rappers that I can listen to on repeat and never get sick of his music. He's witty as fuck, I still only pick up on some of the lyrics till now. He needs more props, I seriously reckon he's one the top tier of rappers. Get his two other albums "When This Is Over" and "The Old Prince" if you haven't already. Dug them just as much.
like i've had the cd for the longest time on my phone and i would hear it but never really listen to it if you know what i mean. i'd always play the same couple of songs over(yaa i get it, rose garden, good name) without listening much to the others. but today on the ride home from work i had the headphones on and i listened to the whole thing from start to finish and was blown away. his whole style is flawless. i'd guess americans don't rate him because he's not really known, he's from canada, and he talks like a white guy somewhat.
finally, some people understand.
TSOL might seriously be one of the best hip hop albums ever.
