Signings
In the offseason, all signings will happen via free agency. See that sub-forum for those rules.

During the season, teams may sign players to minimum contracts for the remainder of the season. Minimum salary amounts are listed in the free agency sub-forum.

Cut
If you cut a player, his salary will continue to count against the cap until the natural term of the contract runs out.

Change
Defense is the only attribute that will ever be impacted by a position change. Because these are a pain to do, I'm limiting teams to 5 per sim.
