Chicago Bulls reach out to Washington Wizards' Nick Young - ESPN Chicago

The Chicago Bulls have talked to the representative of Wizards restricted freeagent Nick Young, but agent Mark Bartelstein emphasized Young is not in a hurry to leave Washington.

"He's got a great situation in Washington," said Bartelstein, a Chicago-based agent. "They've been great to him, but part of free agency is you have to look around. "The Bulls are a terrific team with a need at two-guard."

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau wouldn't elaborate when asked Thursday about the importance of finding Another player who can create his Own Shot off the dribble. "You're always looking for guys that can create shots and break defenses down, particularly in the playoffs. And hopefully that's something that everybody improves upon."
I'd love Nick Young on this team, he'd greatly complement Derrick Rose on this team but the only thing I'd want his for him to improve his passing because he's been a low assist guy for his career...

I've been saying this forever. For a decent price nick young is the right guy for the bulls. Of course proven sg like jrich, jcrawf, or richard jefferson would be better, but I really think nick young could help the bulls a lot. He's a sg that can catch and shoot or creat his own shot.in a goat system like chicago all he would ned to do is score to help take pressure off rose. Young > korver, bogans, and brewer. Korver might be a better shooter and brewer a better defender but they lack so much in other areas, and bogans is just shit. He's a knuckledhead but he wants to prove himself. He wants to get back to winning and being happy like a rookie with our wizards big 3.

Haha yeah you have, I remember we talked about this...

agreed though wizards said they gonna match any offer and bulls can only offer MLE and if they make an offer they cant do a sign and trade....

crawf is a chucker, jefferson is not really a 2g, j-$$$$ is old as well and we want a young person to be w/ rose.

He's a sg that can catch and shoot or creat his own shot.in a goat system like chicago all he would ned to do is score to help take pressure off rose.
hes gotta play d too but i know hes a good man defender but not as good team defender but we got thibs and if anyone can do it, it will be him to change Young... I remember a stat w/ Bogans that if he scored more then 6 points a game, we lost less than 10 games overall in the season lol really similar to that... # might not be right but its def less then 10

Young > korver, bogans, and brewer. Korver might be a better shooter and brewer a better defender but they lack so much in other areas, and bogans is just shit.
true it'd be fun to see Rose have a legit 2guard besides BG and he only had him as a rook

yeah he said that he thought thibs would improve his d

^i like flip sanders but he can never get the most out of his players, and couple that with the fact that the wizards are a known franchise of underachieveing when it comes to developing players its no wonder nick still is lacking. Its no way that after 5 years in the league andray blatche has become bloated and feels comfortable calling himself a finesse player being 7 ft. Thibs seems to bring the best out of his player. Taj gibson and joakim noah on the wizards would be shells of their former selves. This is one of them situations where id hate to see one of my favorite players leave the teamlbut look forward to him improving overall because of it.

Do you remember when he pissed in his pants last season when Boozer was chasing after him lol? that was so funny and he missed the layup terribly

noah's improvement happened when he got outmuscled in the boston playoff series it really showed him that he shouldnt be smoking too much weed all the time and get in some shape and that really was self - improvement, taj just was a nba ready player when you got him he was 26 as a rook... Thibs does get the best out of his players though but I gotta say Thibs really developed Deng this season though...

I wonder if Blatche got traded out of Washington, would he just turn into KG 2??? LMAO

Wall seems to have made a nice improvement, even tho it's more on his own than thanks to Flip...
